Tools

Contents

Click the Contents tool to load the Table of Contents in the left frame. Note that the Contents automatically displays at startup.  To expand the Contents, click once on the plus sign to the left of a heading. To collapse the Contents, click once on the minus sign to the left of a heading.  To load a page in the page frame, double-click on its heading in the Contents.  Notice the HOME, navigation arrow, and Page # in the page frame.  HOME returns you to Contents.

Index

Choose the Index tool to load the Index in the left frame.  Double-click on an entry to load the related page in the page frame. Using the input box speeds index navigation.

Search

Choose this tool and the left frame will offer you space to enter text you want to search for in the documentation.  Enter the keyword you want to search for and click the Search button. Double-click on the desired line from the Search Results list to load that page in the Page frame.  The default search operator is “OR”.  For “AND” searches, enclose multiple terms in quotes.

Search ID#

If you know the Page number of the page you want to view, use the Search ID# tool.

Display

By default, the manual displays in frames. Choose the Display tool to view a full page without the frames.  To recall the frames, click the Display tool again or use the Back button on your browser's navigation toolbar.

Print

The Print tool displays the Table of Contents frame with check boxes next to each entry. Click on the + to expand an entry and view all its sub-entries. Click in the check box next to the section you want to print. Notice that when you click on a main entry its sub-entries are automatically checked. If you don't want to print one of the checked entries, click in the check box again to deselect it.  After you have selected the section(s) you want to print, click the Print Preview button at the top of the Contents frame. All of the pages you selected will concatenate and display as one page in the Page frame to the right. Review this page to make sure it contains the information you wanted. If so, use your browser's Print function to print the page. If not, use the check boxes in the Table of Contents to select the correct sections and then click the Print Preview button again.  Choose the Table of Contents tool on the toolbar to restore the default Table of Contents.
