Have you ever been confused trying figure out how to start converting your catalog into another language? Take a tour of Fort Collins Public Library's Spanish WebOPAC and learn basic changes you need to make to your system to create your own Spanish catalog!
WebOPAC Enhancements: Thumbnails and Document Indexing

At CU Boulder, patrons come to our WebOPACs with expectations for an Amazon or Google experience. Libraries can enhance their catalogs using tools like Innovative's thumbnails and document indexing products to meet this demand. This presentation will describe how UC-Boulder is using these products to add a thumbnail of the table of contents, as well as ToC keyword searching, for two collections. Attendees will learn how to use the thumbnails and document indexing products and will explore other ways these products can be applied to enhance their catalogs.

Presumably all Innovative customers religiously schedule and verify system backup tapes. But have you ever wondered if you really could restore your system from a backup tape? Hear about the University of Colorado at Boulder's experience with Innovative's Backup Tape Verification Test. Learn why you may want to test your backup tapes and how the service works. This may help you sleep at night.

Are you wondering what’s new with Release 2006 in WebPAC, Circulation and Acquisitions/Serials Modules? Then this is the session for you. Panelists will share with the group the new functionality that comes with Innovative’s most current release, Millennium 2006.

1:15 - 2:15         RFID, self-check and e-commerce
Kathy Halloran, Operating Systems Administrator; Cindy Phillips, Digital Resources Manager; and Kathy Munch, Head of Circulation, Golden Library; all from Jefferson County Public Library. 
Jefferson County is now using RFID. This session will describe how the library worked with its RFID vendor Bibliotheca and Innovative to update Millennium self-check software to work with RFID. In addition, Innovative added e-commerce to their self-check module. Find out how the new software works and also how this affects circulation procedures in the RFID-enabled environment.

2:30 - 3:00 pm         Using PDAs and Airpac at the Arvada Library
Eileen Lohne, Collection Development Librarian, Arvada Library.
With the opening of the new Arvada Library, Jefferson County Public Library has begun to use PDAs and Airpac for some tasks such as weeding and displays.
Eileen will discuss the pros and cons of using PDAs for these and other functions.
2:30 - 3:00 pm         Breakout Session
This session will consist of moderated small group discussions based on the following Innovative functional modules: Cataloging, Circulation, OPAC, Serials/Acquisition, and Systems. Please indicate the session you are interested in on the registration form.
